Selborne wins Sports Awards at prestigious ceremony!

Congratulations to Mrs Shilling, our Headteacher, who was nominated and won the Senior Leader Champion Award at the Featherstone partnership’s sports evening award ceremony on Tuesday 14^th July 2026.  She is truly delighted to be recognised for championing sport. Well done to our Headteacher – sport is so important at Selborne at she prioritises it at every opportunity.  The Governors acknowledged this incredible award in the parents’ certificate assemblies the following day and at their Governor meeting that evening.

We are delighted that Mr Amara, our PE Leader, collected our school’s Silver Mark for the sporting competitions which we have entered with the Featherstone Partnership this year.

We were so proud of one of our volunteer parents, Nahar, who won an award at the Featherstone partnership ceremony for her outstanding contribution to sport at our school. We could not go to so many competitions without our volunteer parents!

Congratulations to 4 of our Y6 pupils for winning the Star Pupil award for our school at the Featherstone Partnerships Award ceremony. We are so proud of how our pupils engage with sport at Selborne.
